Dr Chris Morriss-Roberts is Associate Professor of Body Politics and Head of Postgraduate Student Experience at London Metropolitan University, where he leads the MSc Podiatry and MSc Principles of Podiatric Surgery programmes. He began his career as a podiatrist after studying at the University of Southampton, working in both NHS and private settings before moving into higher education via Westminster PCT, the University of East London, and the University of Brighton. A prolific qualitative researcher with over 75 published papers, he chairs the RCPod Footwear Specialist Advisory Group and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Podiatry. He oversaw the comprehensive relaunch of The Podiatrist in 2021 and leads the magazine's Wrestling Research column.
