James Welch

James graduated in 2001 from University College London and The London Foot Hospital, and established Ablefeet Ltd in 2004 to provide specialist podiatry care across Surrey. He completed his Masters in the Principles of Podiatric Surgery from the University of Brighton in 2018. He is the current Chair of the Children's Podiatry Special Advisory Group and a leading contributor to the Paediatric Podiatry Clinical Framework. James is a published researcher in hypermobility disorders, nationally and internationally recognised speaker on paediatric podiatry and leads The New Podiatrist's content in this area. He was recognised with a Royal College of Podiatry Gold Award in 2023 for services to paediatric podiatry.
