Dr Katie Lagan is a Senior Lecturer in Podiatry in the School of Health Sciences at Ulster University. Her research portfolio centres on wound care, with a particular focus on low-intensity laser therapy and phototherapy in the management of chronic and acute wound conditions, including diabetic foot ulceration and venous ulceration. She contributes to The Podiatrist from a research and academic perspective, bringing evidence-based insights on lower limb wound management.
