What's happening

The Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) is recruiting members to its Dermatology in Podiatry Special Advisory Group (DiP).

The group provides professional advice to the College on dermatology in podiatry. It also contributes to resources, guidance and educational opportunities for members.

Through its affiliation with the Primary Care Dermatology Society (PCDS), the group supports collaboration between podiatry and the wider dermatology community.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to current RCPod members who are actively practising podiatrists and have either a relevant postgraduate qualification in dermatology or a related subject, significant clinical experience in dermatology, or both.

The group is particularly interested in members who can demonstrate their expertise through teaching, research, publications, guideline development or other professional activity.

DiP is a Special Advisory Group rather than an interest or learning group. Members are expected to bring existing expertise and contribute actively to its projects and advisory work.

Membership is voluntary.

How to apply

Applicants should submit a supporting statement outlining their relevant qualifications and experience, current clinical practice and reasons for wanting to join the group.

They should also explain how their expertise could contribute to DiP's work. Relevant teaching, research, publications or guideline-development experience can be included.

Applications close on Saturday 31 October 2026.

For further information or to submit an application, email Dr Ivan Bristow, Co-Chair of DiP, at ivan@foot.expert.
