Entries open for Advancing Healthcare Awards in Northern Ireland and Wales

Healthcare scientists, allied health professionals and support staff in Northern Ireland and Wales can enter the awards.

What’s happened

The Advancing Healthcare Awards in Northern Ireland and Wales are now open for entries. Healthcare scientists, allied health professionals and support staff can all enter.

In Northern Ireland, the closing date for entries is 10 June 2026. The awards presentation ceremony will take place on Thursday 22 October at La Mon Hotel & Country Club, Belfast.

In Wales, the closing date for entries is 8 July, with the ceremony and lunch happening on Thursday 15 October at The Cardiff Marriott.

Why this matters to members

The awards are the Welsh and Northern Irish counterparts to the Advancing Healthcare Awards, recognising the work of allied health professionals, healthcare scientists and support staff in those nations. They operate separately from the UK-wide awards programme.

They are a multi-profession awards that highlights the contribution podiatry is making to research, service improvement and population health, particularly in areas such as access to care and reducing health inequalities.

What happens next

Podiatrists in Northern Ireland have until 10 June to enter. In Wales, 8 July.
