ROYAL COLLEGE OF PODIATRY
Voting opens following Royal College of Podiatry Members' Forum
Members can now vote on five proposals discussed at this year's Royal College of Podiatry Members' Forum, with voting open until 5pm on Monday 15 June.

What’s happened
Voting has opened following the Royal College of Podiatry's annual Members' Forum.
The Forum gives member groups, including branches, workplace representatives, the student network and other member communities, the opportunity to propose areas of work they would like the College to develop.
Members attending the hybrid event on Friday 5 June heard presentations on five proposals and discussed their potential impact on the profession and the College.
The proposals are:
Enhancing member engagement in Royal College committees and professional groups.
Royal College of Podiatry promotional materials and items for final-year students and graduates.
Making independent prescribing, its use, formal training and access to NHS patient medical records more accessible to podiatrists working solely in independent practice.
Building an organised workplace: strengthening trade union capacity and member engagement.
Building a stronger and more valuable local branch.
Members have been emailed details of how to access the Forum recording and voting form. The information is also available through the Members' Forum pages on the Royal College of Podiatry website.
Why this matters to members
The Members' Forum provides an opportunity for members to influence future areas of College activity and development.
Voting helps identify which proposals members would most like the College to explore and develop further.
What happens next
Voting closes at 5pm on Monday 15 June.
Members wishing to vote can access the recording and voting information through the email circulated by the College or via the Members' Forum pages on the Royal College of Podiatry website.
Following the close of voting, the results will be shared with members and considered as part of future College planning and development work.
